Bring to hard boil: 1 1/2 cups sugar, 6 tablespoons butter, and 6 tablespoons milk
Stir the above into 1/2 cup semisweet choc. chips that have been melted in the microwave (they melt quickly in the microwave so watch carefully).
Also I add about 5 to 10 marshmallows and stir them in until they are mostly melted (my contribution to the old family recipe).
Spread over brownies. It will be runny at first, but it sets up quickly. This recipe makes enough for a big pan of brownies (like 2 box mixes). Or just pour into a dish by itself as it makes great fudge.
